Sam Brinkley is an actor, singer, and guitarist based in NYC. Sam was raised in DFW as the son of two music teachers, and he’s always had a niche for the fine arts. While growing up, Sam actively participated in theatre arts and choir. He later attended the University of Central Oklahoma for Musical Theatre, where he received a Bachelor of Music in the Spring of 2022.

During his four years at UCO, Sam worked hard to improve his musical skills and apply technique to his talent. While attending, he participated in 9 separate musical productions ranging from lead to swing to assistant director. His most notable roles at UCO include: Roger in Rent, Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and Jamie in The Last Five Years. During his time in college, Sam also made his professional debut when he was cast as Crutchie in Newsies at The Lyric Theatre of Oklahoma.

Sam Brinkley is a quick learner and has the ability to adapt to any situation that is thrown at him. He is multi-faceted and will flourish under pressure. He loves collaboration more than anything, but also isn’t afraid to take charge during challenging situations. Directors and cast mates will appreciate his intuitive thinking and willingness to try his best at all times. He is great at taking direction and will never shy away from making a complete fool of himself. Sam’s dream is to make a living while pursuing his passions, and he aims to make a positive impact on every person he comes across.
